ABOUT THE OWNER

Anuhea St. Laurent is from Kāneʻohe, Koʻolaupoko, Oʻahu. She and her ʻohana now reside on their small homestead in Waikahekahe, Keaʻau, Hawaiʻi. Anuhea graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, and is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Hawai'i MFT#825 Anuhea began working in Hawaiʻi’s mental health field in 2009. She approaches others as a human first, therapist second focusing on pilina. She recognizes the bravery of each kanaka who's open to talking story and understands relationships must be cultivated in order to build trust. Anuhea practices with a rich understanding of Hawaiʻi's history of colonization and continued systemic oppression. Anuhea aims to integrate cultural values and practices into the Western healthcare system most of us navigate today in order to expand accessibility of support to the Lāhui Hawaiʻi.
